It's been another hectic couple of weeks. I've been dealing with a tough situation with my Dad. He's been in the hospital for over a week with heart issues. He will be having open heart surgery sometime this week. Please keep him in your prayers (his name is Hugh Robbins).
Two weeks ago we were in Crawfordsville, Indiana for a concert with the group, Reflections at Christ United Methodist Church and we sang again the next morning for their morning worship service.
Yesterday afternoon we had dinner and a practice session with the guys for our new project that we will be recording in a couple weeks. We have ten great songs that we are learning and we're looking forward to singing these songs for you. We also had a new audition for the group.....we found that my my dog, Bella (pictured above) loves Southern gospel music. One of the songs has Jeff and I singing a bunch of "oohs" and "aahs". Every time we got to that part she started howling. She did a great job and we're thinking about taking her on the road with us. I want to thank Pam for all her hard work in putting on the dinner for The Royalheirs and their families.
Tickets for our concert with The Perrys are available. The Pix Theatre only seats 300 people and we're hoping to have a sell-out so get your tickets early.
Until next time,
Chuck
