The guys made it through Weekend #2 without me. On Saturday, they were in Waterford but due to the severe storms in the area, the crowd was small. Sunday morning they sang at Amazing Grace Church in Portage, MI to a wonderful congregation. They said that the meal after the concert was one of the best they have had so far this year. Sunday night's concert was at Cement City Baptist. The church was packed and the spirit really moved. God met many needs that night. What a great congregation (I look forward to the chance to meet the pastor and his congregation sometime soon!)

Hopefully, I will be back on the bus this weekend. I find myself getting stronger with each day that passes and I'm sure I should be strong enough by Saturday to get back to singing the Lord's praises. I want to personally thank Bob Baxter again for filling in for me these past two weeks. Thank God for good Christian friends like Bob.

Until next time,

Chuck

I want to thank the guys for going out last weekend without me. Our friend, Bob Baxter filled in for me and I want to personally thank him for his help.

The guys were in Ohio all weekend for three different services. They met a lot of new friends and had some great concerts. It was a long trip and was made even longer when the bus broke down. They had to sit at the side of the road just north of Ann Arbor to wait for it to cool down. Then they inched their way back to Flint and arrived at 3:30 a.m. The bus is in the shop right now getting looked at. Please pray that they can find the problem and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix.

Bob will be filling in for me again this coming weekend. I'm still not up to traveling after my surgeries. On April 7th, I had cosmetic surgery to remove the extra skin from my weight loss and then the next morning was rushed back in for emergency surgery due to internal bleeding. In two days time I had 10 hours of surgery and had to have four pints of blood replaced.

Please keep me and the rest of The ROYALHEIRS in your prayers during this recovery period.

Until next time,

Chuck
